ME – Triple Spam Protection from calls and SMS (text messages) IOS12 (GUIDE)

It’s about time to make a true stop for all those spammy calls and text messages (sms) we’re getting daily on our iPhones.
If it’s a SPAM call or a SPAM SMS MeApp is going to put an end to them!
With the new iOS12 ‘Me’ is the first app to implement all the 3 major extensions to handle those spammers:

1.We included SMS and Call Spam reporting straight from your call log or from the sms. (iOS12+)
2.SMS Spam filtering (iOS11+)
3.CallKit extension to Identify real time caller id for top spammers in your area (iOS10+)

In this guide we will show you how to activate all of those 3 major extensions to give you the ultimate Spam protection for you iPhones.

In order to activate them you will need to ( installor update to the latest MeApp version from AppStore) and activate MeApp first, and then enable each one of the extensions manually in the iPhone settings.

To Enable SMS Filtering (requires iOS11+)

Go to Settings -> Messages

Now go to -> Unknown & Spam ->
(As shown in the picture below)

 

Mark ‘ME’ for SMS Filtering 

From now on, Messages contains Spammy words, phrases and even spam senders which are marked to filter in our servers will now automatically move to the ‘SMS Junk’ tab in your Messages.
They will receive quietly without a sound.

Now let’s enable the new reporting kit on Calls and SMS

(To Enable SMS/Call real time reporting (requires iOS12+) (GUIDE)

Go to Settings -> Phone 
(As shown in the picture below)

go to -> SMS/Call Reporting -> Select ‘ME’

 

Select ME in SMS/CALL REPORTING Extension(As shown in the picture)

Once it’s done, you can now report on Spam callers or SMS senders straight from your call log, or your SMSIn order to report a spam CALL,
in your call log slide right on the call, there is a new blue button “REPORT” touch on it

In order to report on a Spam SMS (text message) tap on the message you want to report
Now you will see the option in blue “Report All Messages”

After you tapped on “Report” from your Call log on a phone number or from you Messages a reporting screen of ‘MeApp’ will open
It will show you the sender you want to report on, type in the name of the caller and tapDONE” at the top bar
We will do the rest! Once your report will be approved we will notify you and the other users in our community will be alerted from their calls or text messages.

(GUIDE) How To Enable Real Time Caller ID for Spam protection with CallKit extension (requires iOS10+) 
Go to Settings -> Phone
(As shown in the picture below)

Now go to -> Call Blocking & Identification
(As shown in the picture below)

-> Select ‘ME’ ’ and make sure it’s on (green)
(As shown in the picture below)

 That’s it! You’re protected!

In order to test that the real time caller id is on

Tap a number 12345678  (you don’t need to call it)

You should see the name of the caller right below the number
(As shown in the picture below)


That’s it! Now you have MeApp Triple Spam Protection ON!

Remember: If everyone will report the spammers eventually they will all be tagged in in minutes,
every report counts and helps others.
